The Ring of Fire is a ring of volcanos on the Pacific Rim. It accounts for almost every geographic movement in world history, including the exclusion zones. It is a horseshoe-shaped nexus of tectonic activity which was the cause of the Calamity through cordium exposure.
History[]
Ever since the Calamity, the Ring of Fire had remained active in a more sustainable level. Despite the volcanoes and earthquakes dotting its regions, its inhabitants thrived on its geothermal resources, which to many of them, surpasses the cost of dealing with the Ring of Fire's disasters and even warnings from experts of the Calamity restarting through an inevitable catalyst.[1]
The Ring of Fire, evidently, went off once again through man-made means almost 600 years later; although smaller in scale, it still dealt heavy damage to the North American region.[2]
