"Pillars of Communications" is the tenth mission of Project Wingman. The player flies with Sicario to seize and destroy the Solana Communications Array.
Objectives[]
Some ground-based defenses and fighters are encountered during the initial approach to the array. The allied planes will pick off ground targets efficiently, so the player only really needs to deal with fighters. Crossing the line on the map prematurely results in mission failure.
In the second phase, more fighters appear as optional enemies. Instead, the player needs to take out the array's radar dishes, defending bunkers, and ground reinforcements. Secondary facilities at the array facility can be destroyed for credits.
In the third phase, the line on the map is removed and the player can attack the airbase. PRIORITY targets here include more radar dishes and bunkers, railguns, airships, and the substations of the nearby solar power plant. More targets of opportunity including AA guns, hangars, and oil tanks are scattered about the base. Several fighters and cargo planes attempting to take off are also easy sources of credits if killed promptly. The mission ends when all targets are destroyed.

Trivia[]
- Despite Assassin Team being referred to as such, only Kaiser is present.
- This mission is the very first campaign mission created for the game. It was created in the early demos and called Operation Blackout.
- The unnamed allied fighters in this mission strangely bear the Cascadian Independence Force skin.
- The unused mission description reads: "Conduct a large scale assault with ground unit support in order to take out a jamming facility deep behind enemy lines."
- This mission's operation name is the same as "Deep Strike"'s from Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies.
