Admiral Mathieu Bonin was the fleet commander of Federation Vertical Navy Task Force 1 and Captain of the 205-class air battleship Zetec.
Biography[]
On May 13, AC 432 during the Cascadian Conflict's Operation Free Agent, the Zetec arrived with other airships from patrol in the middle of the raid. It was shot down along with the other airships, and the fate of Admiral Bonin is uncertain.[1][2]
Etymology[]
"Mathieu" is the French/Walloon derivative of "Matthew," meaning "gift of God." "Bonin" is a French-descended pet form of "Bon" as well as an alteration of the Italian "Bonnin," meaning "good child."

Mathieu Bonin is named after the Kickstarter backer of the same name.[3]
