The Golden Ocean is a strip of ocean bordering the Pacific Ocean and the Cascadian capital of Presidia.
Overview[]
The ocean features a large assortment of islands and landmasses surrounding the sufficiently large body of water at the Presidian coast. There is some greenery on the landmasses.
History[]
According to some rumors, the Golden Ocean was once built on gold, which was entirely lost when the Calamity occurred. Because of these rumors, wannabe treasure hunters dive into the ocean to hunt for supposed riches.[1] The ocean is where all the global commerce flowing into Cascadia's capital flows through.[2]
The ocean was used by both the Cascadian Independence Force and the Pacific Federation in transporting naval assets into Presidia during the Cascadian Conflict.
Trivia[]
The Golden Ocean is likely based on the Golden Gate strait near San Francisco, which Presidia is based on.
