- "We've got eyes on the perpetrators, only two small flights. We can take 'em. Escorts, fall into Screening Pattern Alpha."
- ― Espadon crewmember[1]
The Espadon was a Federation Vertical Navy Littoria II-class air battlecruiser.
History[]
Following the loss of Blue Squadron and a Federation AWACS during a battle in the Fresnon Range during the Cascadian Conflict, the Espadon was advised to retreat from the battlespace. However, it elected to stand and fight, expecting easy resistance, only to be shot down along with its entire escort picket by Sicario's Hitman Team and Gunsel Squadron.[1]
Etymology[]
"Espadon" is Spanish for "broadsword/greatsword."
