Cariburn is a Sicario fighter squadron.
History[]
On February 2, AC 432 in the Cascadian Conflict, Cariburn was deployed along with the rest of Sicario to the country as part of their latest contract. It stayed with the rest of the PMC while Hitman Team and Gunsel Squadron stayed back to provide cover.[1]
Etymology[]
The team is named after the XR-45 Cariburn, a fictional aircraft from Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception. The name is also derived from the erroneous Japanese localization of "Caliburn", the alternate name for the sword Excalibur in Arthurian legend.
