The C/T-17 is a cargo/transport aircraft that can be equipped with onboard weaponry. Its only skin is a plain gray color scheme.
Gameplay[]
Like all utility aircraft, they are slow and poorly maneuverable. They are only armed with ground attack cannons which, gameplay-wise, are more just for show. They will take three standard or two multi-lock missiles.
One must also remember that like other utilities, the C/T-17's wreckage retains its hitbox, meaning it can take the player with it via crashing even after its destruction.
Notable Units[]
- Circus - Sicario's armed transport unit. Six members. Seen in Frontiers, Homestead, and Pillars of Communications.
- Skyseeker, Wave Front, and Restiral - Cascadian Independence Force evacuation transports. Skyseeker has six members while the others have three.
History[]
Sicario's Circus unit transported its ground and paratrooper forces throughout the PMC's deployments. During the Cascadian Conflict, it participated in various airdrop operations before presumably being depleted to one surviving plane in the wake of the Cascadian Calamity Event.[1] In addition, the CIF made us of C/T-17s in Operation Water Stable in the form of two armed variants[2] and the evacuation of Presidia through flights such as Skyseeker, Wave Front, and Restiral.[3]
The Pacific Federation stationed four C/T-17s at Rowsdower Air Force Base, all of which were bombarded and destroyed in Operation Carpet Dawn.[4] Over a month later, the Federation extensively utilized C/T-17s for supplying their forces in Cascadia with necessary supplies, their seaborne supply routes having been disrupted by the stolen Eminent Domain. They were all downed in a mass intercept operation throughout the country, however.
The Federation also utilized a C/T-17 convoy to transport veteran Federation troops with war experience out of country and into the Federation Core States. However, the CIF launched an intercept over the Bering Strait which, after snowballing into a massive furball, resulted in the loss of all transports.[5]
Trivia[]
C/T-17s can be seen in the background on the runway and flying in the main menu.
