The Aitor Desert is a desert region located in southeastern Cascadia. It backs the southern edge of the Wensleydale Range.
Overview[]
The desert is mostly comprised of sand and rock mountain formations, with the occasional small patches of greenery that are hard to spot from long distances.[1] The Solana Communications Array was built in the southernmost portion of the area.
History[]
For almost the entire duration of the Cascadian Conflict, the Pacific Federation occupied the region, aside from a long-range air raid by Sicario on the Solana Communications Array on April 4, AC 432.[2] By August 12, the Cascadian Independence Force had recaptured parts of the region,[3] reclaiming it all by the 23rd, the final day of the war.[4]
