1st Battlegroup in the Pacific Ocean
The 1st Battlegroup entered the Cascadian Conflict in the afternoon of February 21, AC 432, quickly occupying Presidia. The battlegroup remained there to reinforce both the naval supply train into Presidia and the capital's defenses.[1] Presumably after this, elements of the battlegroup dispersed to participate in other engagements, as its size evidently shrunk near the end of the war.
1st Battlegroup defeated
On August 12, the Cascadian Independence Force attacked a Federation convoy that was transporting wounded out of Cascadia, provoking the 1st Battlegroup into battle with the Eminent Domain and its own fleet. Midway through the battle, Eminent Domain Captain Woodward attempted to sway the Federation fleet into withdrawing from combat for their own sake, only for them to resume fire. After heavy fighting and incoming mercenary reinforcements led by Sicario leader Arnold Frenken, the entire battlegroup was sunk.[2]
